AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Software Systems Engineer(AUTOSAR).
AGCO is seeking a self-motivated and technically proficient candidate for the position of Software Engineer to join our Vehicle Abstraction Layer team. The Vehicle Abstraction Layer team is responsible for the integration of Communication Stacks for the ECUs (electronic control systems) for AGCO's products. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in Software engineering with System Engineering Mindset.
As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of agricultural technology. You will define and Integrate the AUTOSAR Communication stacks for the next generation control systems architecture that drives the features of our range of agricultural machines. Your work will involve collaborating with solution architects, module leads, hardware engineers, and software engineers to analyze system design alternatives and ensure the implementation of requirements in both hardware and software architecture. You will also support the integration of global technology solutions into specific machine platforms while adhering to functional safety standards.
Your Impact
- Define and maintain the Electronic Control Systems Architecture that delivers the customer features for a range of agricultural machines.
- Analyze system design alternatives with solution architects, module leads, hardware engineers and software engineers.
- Analyze and verify the implementation of requirements in the hardware and software architecture levels.
- Support the integration of global technology solutions in specific machine platform.
- Ensure that the process and the design complies with the required functional safety levels. Design solutions with team members located in other countries operating in a scaled agile framework.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Experience with Software Engineering and System modeling.
- Experience with any AUTOSAR classic Integration Toolchain such as Davinci, Electrobit. Experience with AUTOSAR classic
- Experience with automotive and industrial communication networks and protocols (CAN, Ethernet, J1939, UDS, ISOBUS.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including frameworks, coding standards, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with Git or Version control software Tools. English language fluency (written & verbal)
