Software Quality Engineer / SQE

About the Role Teradyne is seeking a highly technical and analytical Software Quality Engineer (SQE) to serve as a bridge between development, product, and field operations. You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from meticulous manual testing to creating sophisticated automated test suites, leveraging coding skills, analytical thinking, and AI tools to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role focuses on building robust test frameworks and comprehensive test coverage in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do

• Act as a critical bridge between development, product, and field operations teams to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.
• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including meticulous manual testing and development of automated test suites.
• Design, document, and execute detailed manual test cases and test plans based on product requirements.
• Leverage coding skills, analytical mindset, and modern AI tools to analyze complex machine and business processes and to create robust test solutions.
• Create detailed test cases, drive root cause analysis, and build robust automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testability, quality metrics, and processes. What We're Looking For
• Highly technical and analytical Software Quality Engineer with strong background in computer science or engineering.
• Experience bridging development, product, and field operations.
• Proven ability to own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including manual testing and automated test suites.
• Proficient in coding and building robust automation frameworks; comfortable using AI-assisted testing tools.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze complex machine and business processes and perform root cause analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
