Microsoft Software Quality Engineer II — Azure Storage (xDPU Team)
A remote full-time role focused on testing and improving Azure’s large-scale cloud storage systems, especially storage running on Data Processing Unit (DPU) hardware.
Key work:
- Design and execute test plans for complex Azure Storage features.
- Build automated testing systems using Python, C#, and scripting tools.
- Validate performance, security, reliability, and scalability of storage services.
- Debug issues across storage, networking, and Windows environments.
- Improve automation to reduce manual testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years engineering experience with programming (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).
- Experience with storage/network testing, debugging, and automation preferred.
Pay: ~$102,100–$202,200/year (higher range in SF Bay Area and NYC).
