About the Role Lead the software development for platform and infrastructure areas to deliver innovative, high-quality software for Marvell switching products, with a focus on the Teralynx SDK in cloud/datacenter environments. As Director, you will lead a distributed engineering team, drive planning, execution, and delivery across cross-functional groups to meet product goals. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of R&D engineers involved in the development of Marvell switching products for cloud datacenter environments.
- Responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of software for Marvell switching products.
- Contribute to the development of project goals and schedules.
- Demonstrate leadership and execute projects across a highly distributed engineering team.
- Work with Architect, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, and Customer teams.
- Collaborate with teams across various sites.
- Mentor and train the team; manage engineering resource allocation.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment. What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of work experience architecting, developing, and launching software products and/or services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in embedded platform software for switching/routing products.
- Strong knowledge in switching/routing products.
- Strong knowledge in Layer 1, PHY, Kernel and platform area.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or combination of education or experience. Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range USD 190,280 - 285,000 per year. The starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
- The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
