Software Engineer

About the Role The role focuses on designing, testing and maintaining software programs for client deployments while ensuring 100% quality assurance. You will work across the software development life cycle translating requirements into robust software solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design the product/software by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes.
• Investigate problem areas following the software development life cycle and facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability.
• Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts and project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
• Develop and automate software validation by designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing them.
• Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Ensure code quality through debugging and testing; compile documentation and reports; raise codes per project norms with clear replication patterns.
• Coordinate with the team on daily project status and provide feedback on usability and serviceability.
• Provide accurate status reporting and communicate with customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code; maintain formal records for client proposals to implementation.
• Respond to customer requests timely and maintain professional communication to minimize complaints. What We're Looking For
• Understanding of requirements gathering, design, and the software development life cycle, with the ability to translate client needs into feasible software solutions.
• Strong coding and debugging skills, plus experience in test design, validation, and automated testing.
• Ability to analyze information, plan installations or modifications of systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive problem solving, root cause analysis, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to engage in continuing education and learn new programming languages and practices.
• Documentation skills for proposals, architecture, flowcharts, and code comments; ability to present solutions to clients. Nice to Have
