Software Engineer

About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design the product/software; develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes; investigate problem areas via the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis of system issues; identify ideas to improve system performance and availability; analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible design; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts; confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; determine operational feasibility; develop and automate processes for software validation by setting up and designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases; modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces; analyze information to plan installation of new systems or modifications; ensure code is error-free or has no bugs and test failures; prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities and status; ensure codes meet project/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns; compile timely documentation; coordinate with the team on daily status; provide feedback on usability and serviceability and report quality risks to stakeholders.
• Maintain status reporting and customer focus by capturing requirements and clarifications from the client for quality work; take feedback to ensure on-time delivery; participate in continuing education to stay current on best practices; document and demonstrate solutions with flowcharts/diagrams/code comments; ensure clear client communication and timely responses to requests.
