Software Engineer

About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for client deployments, ensuring high quality and adherence to quality assurance parameters across the software development lifecycle. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design software products; develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes
• Investigate problem areas and participate in the software development lifecycle; facilitate root cause analysis and identify ideas to improve performance and availability
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams and project managers to understand software capabilities
• Perform coding and ensure optimal module development; evaluate operational feasibility; develop and automate validation by designing test cases and executing them
• Fix errors, adapt software to new hardware, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces; prepare reports and maintain documentation with replication patterns
• Coordinate with team on daily status, provide usability feedback, and report quality risks to stakeholders
• Maintain ongoing status reporting and client-focused communication to ensure timely delivery What We're Looking For
• Experience in understanding requirements and designing software, with ability to translate requirements into feasible design
• Coding proficiency and experience in software development, optimization, debugging, and test-case design/automation
• Experience in validating software, creating test scenarios, and ensuring quality; ability to document and report clearly
• Ability to analyze software-hardware interfaces, and develop specifications and performance requirements
• Strong documentation, reporting, and customer-facing communication; ability to manage client interactions, fault reports, and inquiries
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and project managers; willingness to learn new languages and best practices Nice to Have
• Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and monitoring of software
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and performance tuning
