Software Engineer

About the Role The role focuses on designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client end, ensuring adherence to 100% quality assurance parameters. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design the product/software; study information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing requirements and system design; investigate problems following the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis; identify ideas to improve system performance and availability.
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts; confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal module development; evaluate operational feasibility; develop and automate processes for software validation by creating test cases and executing them; modify software to fix errors or upgrade interfaces.
• Plan installations or modifications; ensure code quality; prepare reports and maintain documentation; coordinate with the team on daily status; provide feedback on usability and serviceability and report quality risks.
• Maintain ongoing status reporting and strong customer focus; capture requirements and clarifications from the client; solicit feedback; participate in ongoing education to stay current; document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code; ensure timely responses to customer requests. What We're Looking For
• Experience with software development lifecycle and software design principles; ability to understand requirements and design software solutions; capability to perform root cause analysis and drive performance improvements.
• Proficiency in coding and building automated test cases/scenarios; ability to validate software; knowledge of debugging, documentation, and adherence to project norms; ability to replicate issues and communicate results clearly.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams; experience in documenting specifications, flowcharts, and code comments; capability to interact professionally with customers via email, calls, and reports; ability to deliver timely results.
• Familiarity with software-hardware interfaces and performance requirements; willingness to continue education and learn new programming languages and best practices.
