Software Engineer

About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that will be deployed at a client end, ensuring 100% quality assurance. The role involves understanding requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating across teams to deliver future-ready software. What You'll Do

• Instrumental in understanding requirements and designing software by studying information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas across the software development lifecycle; facilitate root cause analysis; identify ideas to improve performance and availability; analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams and project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal module development; determine operational feasibility; develop and automate software validation by creating test cases and executing them; modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces; assess installations of new systems or modifications; ensure code is clean and bug-free; maintain documentation; coordinate daily project status and provide usability feedback.
• Provide ongoing status reporting and maintain customer focus; capture requirements and clarifications from clients; solicit regular feedback to ensure on-time delivery; document and demonstrate solutions; maintain professional client communication and timely responses; pursue continuing education to stay current with best practices. What We're Looking For
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, and software design.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document effectively; focus on customer satisfaction.
• Experience in coding, testing, debugging, and validation; ability to create and run test cases, assess results, and report on quality risks.
• Aptitude for analyzing information, problem solving, and proposing performance improvements; willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies.
• Familiarity with documenting system architecture, flowcharts, and code comments for client understanding. Nice to Have
• Experience with CI/CD, automation of test cases, and software-hardware interface considerations.
