Software Engineer

About the Role The role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or client deployments, ensuring high quality and readiness for implementation. What You'll Do

• Instrumental in understanding requirements and design; develop software solutions by studying information needs, data flows and work processes; investigate problems through the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements; identify ideas to improve system performance and availability; analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams and project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; determine operational feasibility; develop and automate validation by designing test cases/scenarios; modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces; analyze information to plan installation of new systems or modifications; ensure code quality and error-free status; compile documentation and reports; coordinate daily project status and progress; provide feedback on usability and serviceability; report quality risks to stakeholders.
• Status Reporting and Customer Focus: capture requirements, take feedback for timely delivery, maintain ongoing client communications; document and demonstrate solutions with diagrams and code comments; ensure formal documentation from proposal to implementation; maintain professional customer interactions and timely responses to requests. What We're Looking For
• Experience in software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis skills; ability to translate client requirements into feasible designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with CI/CD, software validation, test case design, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to document and report clearly; customer-focused mindset. Nice to Have
• Exposure to client deployments and software-hardware interfaces.
