About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that are deployed at a client end, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards. What You'll Do
- Understand requirements and contribute to the design of product/software
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes
- Investigate problem areas and follow the software development lifecycle
- Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and define problem statements
- Translate client requirements into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts
- Obtain information on software capabilities from project managers
- Assess operational feasibility by evaluating requirements and proposed software
- Develop and automate software validation by designing test cases and executing them
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces
- Assess installation needs for new systems or modifications to existing ones
- Ensure code quality and minimize bugs; maintain documentation and status reports
- Coordinate daily project status with the team and document progress
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability; report quality risks to stakeholders
- Focus on delivering on time with clear customer communications What We're Looking For
- Experience in software design, development lifecycle, and translating requirements into feasible designs
- Ability to analyze client requirements, identify performance improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in coding, debugging, and developing test cases; experience with software validation and automation
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills with customers and project stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to gather feedback and ensure timely delivery
- Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and skills upgradation
