Software Engineer

About the Role The role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications deployed at client ends, and to ensure 100% quality assurance. You will participate in the software development life cycle, analyze requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. What You'll Do

• Design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications deployed at client ends, ensuring 100% quality assurance.
• Understand requirements and design the product/software; develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes.
• Investigate problem areas and support the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis and identify ideas to improve system performance and availability.
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts and project managers to confirm software capabilities.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; develop and automate test cases/scenarios; fix errors, adapt to new hardware, and upgrade interfaces; ensure code is error-free and well-documented.
• Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities and status; compile timely, comprehensive documentation; coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress.
• Focus on customer interactions and timely delivery: capture requirements, take feedback, and respond promptly to customer requests; maintain professional communication.
• Document solutions and demonstrations by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code; ensure proper understanding from client proposal to implementation.
• Adhere to performance measures: contribute to continuous integration, deployment and monitoring; ensure 100% on-boarding and adherence to release plans; monitor quality, customer experience and reporting. What We're Looking For
• Understanding of requirements gathering and software design; experience in the software development life cycle.
• Strong coding and software development skills; ability to develop and automate test cases, validate software, and fix bugs; ensure code quality and documentation.
• Ability to analyze information, evaluate feasibility, and design feasible software solutions; experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and project managers.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication; ability to document and demonstrate solutions to clients; manage expectations and deliver on time.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities; ability to trace issues to quality risks and report to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of software performance improvements and usability feedback; willingness to continue learning new programming languages.
