Software Engineer

About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for client deployments and ensure 100% quality assurance. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design the product/software
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes
• Investigate problem areas and follow the software development life cycle
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability
• Analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible designs
• Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts on detailed investigations
• Confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities
• Determine operational feasibility and assess analysis, requirements, and proposed software
• Develop and automate processes for software validation by creating test cases and executing them
• Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces
• Analyze information to plan installation of new systems or modifications
• Ensure code is error-free and test failures are resolved
• Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities and status
• Ensure code follows norms and document replication patterns; compile documentation
• Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress and document it
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, report quality risks to stakeholders
• Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
• Maintain formal documentation and reports for client proposals to implementation
• Ensure good customer interaction via e-mail, fault report tracking, calls, and business etiquette
• Respond timely to customer requests and maintain low complaint rates
• Deliver performance targets including 100% error-free onboarding/implementation, quality CSAT, and on-time MIS reporting What We're Looking For
• Experience with software development life cycle and delivering client-facing software
• Ability to analyze requirements, design feasible solutions, and guide implementation
• Strong coding, testing, and debugging skills; experience with automation and test case design
• Proficiency in documenting software design, installation plans, and user guides
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused mindset
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and keep up with best practices
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
