Software Engineer

About the Role The role involves designing, testing, and maintaining software for operating systems or applications deployed at client end, with a focus on achieving high quality and reliable delivery. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, translate requirements into design, investigate issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust software solutions. What You'll Do

• Understand and translate client requirements into software design by studying information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes; facilitate root cause analysis and collaborate with functional teams to ensure feasible design and effective solutions.
• Code development and software validation: develop and automate test cases, modify software to fix errors or improve performance, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces; ensure code quality, maintain documentation, and coordinate with the team on progress and usability feedback.
• Project execution and client engagement: maintain ongoing status reporting, capture requirements and clarifications for quality work, solicit feedback for on-time delivery, document solutions thoroughly, and ensure professional client interactions and timely responses. What We're Looking For
• Strong understanding of software requirements and design, with the ability to translate requirements into feasible, high-quality designs.
• Proficiency in software development including coding, debugging, performance optimization, and test case design/validation; familiarity with deployment considerations and interfaces.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with clients and cross-functional teams; ability to gather information on software capabilities and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Solid problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities; capacity to propose practical improvements and performance enhancements.
• Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create code comments, diagrams, flowcharts, and formal reports from proposal to implementation.
