- Understand requirements and design software by studying information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes; investigate problems across the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis; identify ideas to improve performance and availability; convert client requirements into feasible design; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts; coordinate with project managers to obtain software capability information.
