Software Engineer

About the Role The Software Engineer will design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or client deployments, ensuring alignment with quality assurance parameters and successful client onboarding. The role emphasizes understanding requirements, designing solutions, and delivering reliable software in collaboration with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design the product/software
• Develop software by studying information needs, system flows, data usage and work processes
• Investigate problem areas across the software development life cycle and facilitate root cause analysis
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability
• Analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible designs
• Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts and confer with project managers on software capabilities
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; evaluate operational feasibility
• Develop and automate validation processes by designing and executing test cases/scenarios/usage cases
• Modify software to fix bugs, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces
• Plan installations or modifications of systems; ensure code is error-free and well-documented
• Compile documentation and reports; coordinate daily project status and communicate updates
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability; trace results to quality risks and report to stakeholders
• Maintain status reporting and keep a strong customer focus: capture requirements, solicit feedback, ensure on-time delivery, and respond promptly to requests
• Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, code comments and formal reports
• Ensure professional customer interactions via email, calls and business etiquette; timely response to customer requests; avoid complaints What We're Looking For
• Experience in designing, coding, testing and maintaining software for client deployments
• Strong ability to understand requirements, analyze problems, and work through the software development life cycle
• Excellent collaboration with engineers, analysts and project managers; capable of translating requirements into feasible designs
• Proactive problem-solving, debugging, documentation and communication skills; ability to document clearly for client understanding
• Customer-focused mindset with disciplined communication and timely responsiveness Nice to Have
• Exposure to continuous integration, deployment and monitoring; familiarity with testing automation frameworks
