About this role
About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that will be deployed at a client end, ensuring 100% quality assurance parameters. What You'll Do
- Understand requirements and design the product/software; study information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigate problems throughout the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis; identify ideas to improve performance and availability; analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts; discuss software capabilities with project managers
- Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; evaluate feasibility; develop and automate validation processes by designing test cases and executing them; modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces; prepare documentation and reports; ensure code quality and replication; coordinate with team on project status; provide feedback on usability and trace results to quality risk
- Maintain status reporting and customer focus; capture client requirements for quality work; collect feedback for timely delivery; continuously learn and document solutions for client proposals to implementation; ensure professional customer interactions via email, calls, and etiquette; timely response to requests What We're Looking For
- Ability to design, test, and maintain software for client deployments; understanding of software development lifecycle; problem solving and root cause analysis
- Experience with translating requirements into feasible designs; collaboration with engineers and analysts; strong documentation and reporting skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Familiarity with code development standards, testing, and deployment processes; capability to document issues and resolutions clearly Nice to Have
