About the Role The role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications intended for client deployment and to ensure quality assurance standards are met. What You'll Do
- Understand requirements and contribute to design by studying information needs, system flows, data usage and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas and work through the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams and project managers.
- Code and build software modules, evaluate operational feasibility, and develop and automate test cases/scenarios/usage cases.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces; ensure code quality and bug-free delivery.
- Prepare documentation, reports and replication patterns; coordinate daily status with the team and document progress.
- Communicate with customers via email/phone and ensure timely responses; capture and clarify requirements to ensure on-time delivery. What We're Looking For
- Experience in software design and development; strong understanding of the software development life cycle and requirement analysis.
- Proficiency in coding, debugging, and developing test cases; ability to automate testing where applicable.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment and monitoring; experience in documenting solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused mindset and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Willingness to continue learning and stay current with best practices and programming languages.
