Software Engineer

About the Role The Software Engineer will design, test, and maintain software solutions for client deployments, ensuring high quality and reliable performance. This role involves analyzing requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver software that meets client needs and quality standards. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design software by studying information needs, system flows, data usage and work processes; investigate problems across the software development life cycle; facilitate root cause analysis; identify ideas to improve system performance and availability; analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts; confer with project managers to obtain software capability information.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; evaluate operational feasibility; develop and automate processes for software validation by creating test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing them; modify software to fix errors or adapt to new hardware; plan installations and modifications; ensure code is error-free; prepare reports on project specifications, activities and status; maintain thorough documentation; coordinate with the team on daily status and provide feedback on usability and serviceability.
• Status Reporting and Customer Focus: capture requirements and clarifications from the client; take feedback for timely delivery; participate in continuing education; consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications; document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, code comments and clear code; ensure high-quality customer interaction; respond promptly to customer requests.
• Deliverables & Performance: monitor continuous integration, deployment and monitoring; maintain quality and customer satisfaction; generate MIS and reports on time.
