About the Role Design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or client deployments, ensuring 100% quality assurance. Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from requirements understanding to implementation and delivery to customers. What You'll Do
- Understand requirements and design software solutions by studying information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas and guide the software development lifecycle; facilitate root cause analysis of system issues; identify ideas to improve performance and availability; translate client requirements into feasible designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts and project managers to obtain information on software capabilities and ensure alignment with client needs.
- Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; evaluate operational feasibility; develop and automate test cases; fix bugs; improve performance; document code and replication patterns; coordinate daily project status and progress; provide usability feedback.
- Maintain ongoing status reporting and strong customer focus; capture requirements and clarifications; collect feedback for timely delivery; document solutions and ensure professional client interactions; respond promptly to customer requests. What We're Looking For
- Experience across the software development lifecycle with ability to design, code, test, and maintain software.
- Strong analytical skills to translate client requirements into feasible designs and to perform root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in designing test cases, debugging, and validating software; ability to document and report project status and outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams and customer interactions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and ability to pick up new programming languages and best practices. Nice to Have
