Software Engineer

About the Role

Role focused on designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for client deployments with a strong emphasis on quality assurance. The person will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to coding, testing, documentation, and delivery, ensuring reliable and scalable software solutions for clients. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design software solutions by studying information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes

• Investigate problem areas and follow the software development life cycle to implement effective fixes

• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and identify ideas to improve performance and availability

• Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible designs; collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts

• Confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities and constraints

• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; evaluate operational feasibility

• Develop and automate testing by designing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases; execute and refine tests

• Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces

• Prepare documentation and reports on programming activities, keep replication patterns, and ensure code is documented per project norms

• Coordinate with the team on daily status, provide feedback on usability and serviceability, and document results for stakeholders

• Maintain ongoing status reporting and focus on customer satisfaction; respond to customer requests promptly and professionally

• Document solutions with diagrams, flowcharts, layouts, charts, code comments, and clear code for client understanding

• Ensure effective client interactions via email, fault reports, voice calls, and business etiquette

• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices and new programming languages What We're Looking For

• Experience designing, testing, and deploying software for client end users

• Strong understanding of requirements analysis, system design, and the full software development lifecycle

• Proficiency in coding and debugging; experience with automated testing and test case design

• Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into practical designs

• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Experience documenting software solutions and communicating clearly to clients

• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and deployment processes
