Software Engineer

About the Role The role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications deployed at client end, ensuring quality and timely delivery. It involves understanding requirements, designing solutions, investigating issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle. What You'll Do

• Understand requirements and design the product/software by studying information needs, system flows, data usage and work processes; investigate problems and perform root cause analysis; collaborate with functional teams and project managers to obtain software capabilities.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development; evaluate operational feasibility; develop and automate test cases; modify software to fix errors and improve performance; document code and replication patterns; prepare reports and ensure compliance with project norms; coordinate with team and provide usability feedback.
• Manage status reporting and customer focus: capture requirements, clarify client expectations, solicit feedback for on-time delivery; document solutions and interactions; respond promptly to customer requests; maintain ongoing learning to stay current on best practices.
• Deliver on Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring, Quality & CSAT, and MIS & Reporting with on-time onboarding, adherence to schedules, and 100% error-free delivery where applicable. What We're Looking For
• Experience in software design, development and testing; understanding of the software development life cycle; ability to translate requirements into feasible designs; root-cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Ability to code, debug, develop test cases, automate validation, and document code, reports and status; capable of coordinating with team and communicating with stakeholders.
• Creative and proactive communication with customers, ability to document software/hardware interfaces and performance requirements, and willingness to learn new programming languages. Nice to Have
