About the Role
iCapital is seeking a Backend Software Engineer at Vice President level. You will design, build, and operate services that power the iCapital platform.
You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical partners throughout the development lifecycle. Our service-oriented platform primarily uses Scala, Ruby, and Python, but prior experience with these languages is not required. We value strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services and APIs.
- • Translate product and business needs into practical technical solutions.
- • Own projects from design through production rollout and ongoing support.
- • Write maintainable code and contribute to technical design decisions.
- • Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards.
