About the Role Valce Talent Solutions is seeking Software Engineers with strong OO concepts and core CS fundamentals. This is a remote role focused on building scalable back-end and front-end applications using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and AWS, with a strong emphasis on automated unit and integration testing. You will collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain software using Java (back-end) and JavaScript/TypeScript (front-end)
- Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases
- Deploy and operate on AWS; use Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Implement unit and integration tests; automate testing
- Contribute to AI-enabled tooling and prompt engineering
- Collaborate with team members and clients; communicate in English What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Expertise with Object Oriented concepts and CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns)
- Excellent English communication with team members and clients
- Experience with core technologies: Back-end Java, JavaScript; Front-end: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3; Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL; Cloud: AWS
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tooling and prompt engineering for code/workflows Nice to Have
- Patterns: MVC, MVVM, SOA, REST, GraphQL
- Source Control: Git, Azure DevOps
- DevOps Tooling: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Package Management: Bower, NPM, Yarn, NuGet
- Testing: XUnit, MSTest, Jasmine, Karma, JUnit, RSpec
