Software Engineer Specialist

About the Role The Enterprise Content Solutions team is looking for a Software Engineer Specialist to work on various initiatives. This group leads transformation, architecture, development and support for around applications globally. This role will report into the Sr. Development Manager leading this department. What You'll Do

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
• Participating in solution design discussions focused on scalability, design and implementation best practices
• Ensuring software, programs and applications are developed and/or configured to meet high availability, integrity and reliability requirements
• Working with other developers and business analysts on breaking-down, scoping and estimating tasks.
• Delivering code for development, modernization and integration to meet the business needs.
• Proactively partners with business line representatives to drive improved technology solutions that support business strategy.
• Working closely with onshore and offshore vendor partners to ensure that solutions being delivered are of necessary quality and align with project goals.
• Ensure all code is well-documented, tested, and adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Maintain high availability and performance of applications through proactive monitoring and incident response.
• Communicate effectively with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs What We're Looking For
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, and software architects) to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software applications built on Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of scalability and reliability requirements.
• Ability to break down tasks, estimate effort, and collaborate with business line representatives and vendor partners.
• Familiarity with both onshore and offshore vendor engagement.
• Proactive communication with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
