Software Engineer (RAD, Prime Finance)

Job Description:

Requirement:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
At least 7 years' experience in software development using scalable technologies such as Python, SQL, Java, C#, Excel VBA, or Angular.
Hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Experience working in a rapid application development environment.
Familiarity with financial services data flows and capital markets products (e.g. prime finance).
Experience in financial industry IT environments (buy-side or sell-side).
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and general problem-solving.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable working directly with end users and business stakeholders.
Able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end with ownership and accountability.
Self-driven and able to work independently.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale systems, including pricing or analytics components for financial instruments.
Proactive mindset with ability to independently develop and iterate on ideas, while contributing effectively in a team.
Exposure to data science concepts or tooling.
Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
Prior experience in front-office investment banking environments.
Academic or professional background in Finance; CFA or FRM candidates/holders a plus.
