Software Engineer

About the Role

Join Moveworks as a software engineer on the agent lab's Natural Language Understanding team and help advance the frontier of AI agents that can perform tasks reliably at scale. You will contribute to the evolution of the Moveworks AI Assistant platform across areas like agent orchestration, sandboxed execution, latency optimization, memory, LLM self-reflection, and knowledge graphs. You’ll work with state-of-the-art ML/AI tooling to deliver real enterprise impact. What You'll Do

• Take on exciting and difficult engineering challenges, building and evolving capable AI agent systems that are reliable at scale.

• Implement frontier AI algorithms and architectures and productionize them at scale.

• Use the latest advances in ML, LLMs, and AI agents to enhance products and create delightful user experiences.

• Contribute to roadmap and drive the evolution of engineering areas to deliver lasting value for customers.

• Hone your craft in writing robust, extensible, readable, and performant code.

• Partner with subject matter experts across ML, security, product, UX, and customer success to build the best enterprise AI product.

• Mentor other engineers on how to build and evolve great software.

• Collaborate with ML engineers and build world-class AI systems. What We're Looking For

• Entry-level experience designing, building, and improving production systems, ideally at scale.

• Ability to think and communicate clearly about complex engineering problems and systems.

• Comfort giving and receiving feedback and holding yourself and coworkers to a high standard of operational excellence.

• Readiness to hit the ground running in a Mac development environment, programming in Python, Go (Golang), and/or Java.

• Desire to ship at a startup pace with a high degree of ownership.

• Attention to detail.

• Drive to ship product improvements with production-grade code.

• Strong appetite for continuous incremental wins and completing challenging projects quickly.

• High level of curiosity about engineering outside of immediate discipline and ongoing desire to learn and stay at the cutting edge of applied AI. Nice to Have
