About the Role We are seeking a software engineer to develop measurement and evaluation software and apply AI methods to advance technology within data storage hardware. The role focuses on building and validating software for experiments, supporting data analysis, and documenting results for cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Program measurement and evaluation software using AI methods
- Systematic testing and optimization of optical setups for characterizing laser diodes
- Support in conducting measurements as well as in evaluating and analyzing measurement data
- Preparation, visualization, and structured documentation of measurement and experimental results
- Mechanical design and integration/adaptation of components and setups
What We're Looking For
- Experience with programming measurement and data analysis software and applying AI methods
- Experience with systematic testing and optimization of optical setups for laser diode characterization
- Ability to perform measurements, analyze data, and present results
- Background in mechanical design and adaptation of experimental setups
