About the Role We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our innovative engineering teams. You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power millions of user interactions globally, building scalable applications and delivering features for our global clientele across platforms including SaaS job board platforms, educational tools, and content delivery systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power user interactions across multiple platforms.
- Build scalable applications, implement new features, and contribute to high-quality software products for our customers globally.
- Write unit tests and automated tests; adhere to coding standards to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with team leads, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
- Focus on quality assurance as needed by developing regression tests, end-to-end tests, and other QA solutions; participate in Agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Java development; strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
- Experience with web APIs (REST/GraphQL), AWS, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Data storage technologies (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB); SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Spring Boot; JUnit, Mockito; experience with unit testing.
- Agile methodologies; JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, ExpressJS); HTML/CSS; Git; CI/CD and automated testing.
- Additional technologies: XML, Apache; TypeScript; NPM/Yarn; messaging queues such as Apache Kafka, JMS.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; 2+ years of software development experience; ability to work independently and in teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with educational technology platforms and content management systems.
- Exposure to content delivery systems and SaaS job boards (if applicable).
