About the Role Responsible for managing technology in complex projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions. What You'll Do
- Own design, coding, unit/functional testing, test automation, integration and documentation activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
- Maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor).
- Provide technical guidance/solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
- Ensure process compliance in the assigned module; participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
- Prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
- Represent the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members. What We're Looking For
- Japanese language N1 or above; Japan local presence.
- Java App development; Linux; English (read/write).
- Education: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/E&C/Information Science; Minimum 1-3 years of software development experience.
- 1–3 years of experience with Java and Linux; working proficiency in English. Nice to Have
- AI, Cloud Tech (AWS, Azure, OCI, Docker, Kubernetes), IT Infra, CI/CD (Ansible, Jenkins), NFV, SDN, DBMS/SQL, OpenStack, Testing, Programming (Java, JavaScript, Go, C/C++, Bash, etc), Communication Protocol Knowledge, API usage with curl, LDAP, EDB (SQL Server), Network knowledge.
