About the Role Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is seeking skilled software engineers to help secure customers in a threat-rich landscape. This role covers Software Engineer II and Senior Software Engineer responsibilities focused on building and delivering Defender for Endpoint features. What You'll Do
- Design, implement, test, and deploy software features for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Collaborate with security, product, program management, and other engineering teams to ship reliable, scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimizations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive engineering culture. What We're Looking For
- Software engineering experience with strong coding skills in modern languages used at Defender for Endpoint.
- Ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and work across teams to deliver impact.
- Effective communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience contributing to the full software development lifecycle from design to production. Nice to Have
- Experience in endpoint security, security analytics, or related fields.
