Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer II for the Microsoft Store team. The role focuses on building AI-powered, full-stack experiences for the Microsoft Store across Windows, spanning frontend, backend, cloud services, and data.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining full-stack applications, using AI coding tools and large language models (LLMs) to improve software development, building automation and testing systems, modernizing Azure deployments, monitoring service performance, and improving platform security, accessibility, and reliability.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, 2+ years of software engineering experience, and proficiency in languages such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-assisted development, Azure, CI/CD, automation, observability, cloud services, and integrating LLMs into software products.
