About the Role

Join OVHcloud's OneTeam and work within the Software Enablers team to design and develop high-performance dataplane network software for SDN. You will maintain the existing ecosystem and contribute to future evolutions, leveraging CPU-based NICs to deliver optimized dataplane solutions for OVHcloud's network infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Develop high-performance dataplane network software.

• Optimize the performance of virtualized network functions.

• Maintain and improve development tools and processes.

• Collaborate with other teams to integrate solutions into the OVHcloud ecosystem.

• Participate in resolving complex technical issues.

• What We're Looking For

• Excellent mastery of low-level C and C++ (3+ years in a related field) with experience in build chains, debugging, profiling, and multithreading.

• Linux programming (userland & kernel) and deep kernel configuration.

• Strong knowledge of low-latency programming and low-level processing architectures.

• Comfortable with the OSI stack and protocols from layer 2 to 4.

• Proficient in Linux environment (CLI, scripting) and common development tools (version control, testing).

• Nice to have: experience with other languages (Golang, Python, Bash).

• Familiarity with CI/CD and testing tools.

• Experience in high-performance networking software development (DPDK, eBPF/XDP).

• Knowledge of Linux networking optimizations and software integration.

• Experience in Linux system administration and test automation.

• Experience with large-scale network infrastructures.

• Nice to Have

• CI/CD tooling experience; additional languages (Golang, Python, Bash)

• Experience with network virtualization technologies (DPDK, eBPF/XDP) is a plus.
