About the Role Responsible for managing technology in complex projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions. This role involves owning design, coding, testing, test automation, integration, and documentation, while guiding the team and ensuring best practices are followed.

What You'll Do

• Own design, coding, unit/functional testing, test automation, integration and documentation activities based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
• Maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancements (major and minor).
• Provide technical guidance/solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
• Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
• Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
• Represent the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

What We're Looking For

• Japanese language N1 or above; Japan local presence.
• Java App development, Linux, Cloud Tech/IT Infra skills (AWS, Azure, OCI, Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
• English (Read/Write).
• Minimum 3-5 years of software development experience.
• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Science.

Nice to Have

• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI, Docker, Kubernetes); IT Infra skills.
• CI/CD (Ansible, Jenkins), NFV, SDN, DBMS/SQL, OpenStack, Testing.
• Programming (Java, JavaScript, Go, C/C++, Bash scripting, etc.).
• API knowledge (curl), LDAP, SQL Server (EDB), Network knowledge (tcpdump, Wireshark).
• Experience with Redis, Zookeeper/Kafka; Telco industry experience.
• English-speaking ability; Japanese native; Project Leading; System/Solution Architect; AI education.
