About the Role We are hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to contribute to the Avigilon Alta Video UI platform. You’ll work on high‑quality, real‑time frontend tooling using Vue 3, Pinia, and TypeScript, with a Go backend in a broader Motorola portfolio. The role emphasizes architecture, state management, and maintainable code. What You'll Do
- Analyze, develop, and maintain software for the organization’s products and systems.
- Develop, validate, and test: build tested, maintainable code and debug when necessary.
- Implement state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.
- Delivery: basic understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment, Git.
- Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
- Understanding of application state patterns, data flows (Pinia, Vuex, or Redux) and reactivity.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and Websockets.
- Solid foundation in data structures/algorithms and design patterns; ability to see long-term implications of solutions.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with others.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new areas. Nice to Have
- Interest in building, operating, and maintaining resilient, scalable systems; testing your code.
- Ability to investigate root causes and perform debugging.
- Flexibility to explore new areas of the codebase and jump into new features (with help).
