About this role

About the Role

Join the Foundation team at a Series B AI-powered education technology company, working across its mobile app, AI infrastructure, developer experience, and backend services. Your work will help product engineers build and ship reliable features for a student learning platform.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain core parts of the Flutter app, including shared components, design systems, state management, performance, and tooling.

  • Develop AI and agentic infrastructure, including MCP servers, background agent systems, evaluations, and feedback loops.

  • Improve engineering workflows through better CI/CD, release tooling, and faster feedback between writing code and seeing it in production.

  • Ship user-facing features alongside platform improvements.

  • Keep the technical foundation reliable so other engineers can build on it with confidence.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to four years of production experience building mobile applications with Flutter and Dart, or building web applications.

  • Daily, fluent use of agentic coding tools, with a thoughtful understanding of their strengths, limitations, and practical workarounds.

  • A strong academic background from a well-regarded university or equivalent institution.

  • Clear English communication and an interest in improving systems and workflows that help other engineers.

  • An eye for design details, including spacing, animation, and component consistency.

  • Interest in mobile foundations, AI infrastructure, developer experience, and user-facing product work.
