About the Role VALCE T@lent Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer skilled in C# and .NET to design, develop, and maintain software in an Agile environment. The role involves contributing to legacy application development, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Mexico City setting, and ensuring quality through unit testing and modern CI/CD practices.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain software using C# and .NET
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work on both new features and legacy applications
- Write unit tests and perform static analysis
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Debug, profile, and fix issues using debugging tools
- Work with service-oriented and layered software architecture
- Utilize version control tools
- Communicate effectively in English
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, focusing on C# and .NET
- At least 1 year of professional experience in C or C++
- Experience in Agile environments
- Strong knowledge of version control and project management tools
- Experience with SOA and layered architecture
- Experience with unit testing and static analysis
- Experience developing and releasing software in CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with debugging tools and strong debugging skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Desire to work in a legacy application development environment
