Microsoft Software Engineering Intern — Cloud & Distributed Backend
A software engineering internship focused on building large-scale cloud services, backend systems, APIs, and distributed infrastructure that power Microsoft products.
Key work:
- Develop and improve cloud-based backend services.
- Work on scalability, reliability, performance, and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with engineers on real-world software projects.
Requirements:
- Currently studying Computer Science or a related field with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
- Programming experience (preferred: C#, C++, Rust, Java, Go, Python).
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, networking, operating systems, or cloud computing is a plus.
Pay: ~$5,690–$11,210/month (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC).
