About the Role Canonical is hiring a Software Engineer for Ceph & Distributed Storage. As part of Cloud Engineering, you’ll be building modelling software to drive systems such as OpenStack, Ceph, and Kubernetes with a focus on distributed storage.
What You'll Do
- Develop modelling software to support distributed storage workloads and Ceph.
- Collaborate with teams working on OpenStack, Ceph, and Kubernetes to deliver integrated storage solutions.
- Design and implement scalable storage tooling and services to improve performance and reliability.
What We’re Looking For
- Interest or experience in building modelling software for distributed storage systems.
- Familiarity with Ceph, OpenStack, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong collaborative and remote-friendly communication skills to work across time zones.
