Job title: Software Engineer
About the Role BVNK is building stablecoin-native infrastructure to move value instantly across borders. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build out seamless cross-border payments involving crypto and fiat, and to improve liquidity management and automation. You’ll work in small autonomous squads to own problems and deliver simple, effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with product teams to iterate quickly and deliver results.
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Advocate for simple, robust approaches that meet customer outcomes.
- Develop future-proof products with quality code and reliable delivery.
- Contribute to engineering culture and standards to help the team perform better.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in FinTech.
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.
- Strong understanding of financial services, banking, payments or crypto.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills.
- Open to participating in out-of-hours on-call rota.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain is a plus.
