About the Role As the Software Engineer, Automation & Developer Tools at Everlaw, you will be a key architect of our quality culture. You’ll own and improve CI/CD pipelines, drive advanced automation techniques, and mentor the QA team, bridging Development and QA to raise automation standards and keep release cycles efficient. What You'll Do
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, scalable software delivery.
- Design, implement, and evangelize automation tooling, templates, and documentation for QA and development teams.
- Serve as a technical mentor for the QA team and participate in the Testing Guild; lead thoughtful code reviews to uphold automation standards.
- Collaborate with Development and QA to align automation efforts with product goals and release cadence; provide automation-first solutions that reduce toil.
- Help shape the platform's reliability by exploring innovative automation approaches, including AI-assisted testing, to support Everlaw's mission. What We're Looking For
- Proven software engineer with experience in automation, QA, or DevOps; track record building automation tooling, templates, and documentation.
- Strong expertise in designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Excellent collaboration and mentoring skills; ability to work across Development and QA and lead code reviews.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for automation and improving software reliability; comfortable working in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
