About the Role Software Engineer with AI/ML experience to join the AI Partnerships team in Bangalore, India. The role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining software systems and ML pipelines that connect advanced AI capabilities with Teradyne's robotics products and partner ecosystems. You will collaborate with ML researchers and robotics engineers to deliver robust, production-ready software for robot manipulation, visual inspection, and AMRs/mobile manipulators, emphasizing hands-on development and collaboration. What You'll Do
- Build, deploy, and maintain software systems and ML pipelines that connect AI capabilities with Teradyne's robotics products and partner ecosystems.
- Collaborate with machine learning researchers and robotics engineers to ensure state-of-the-art AI models are delivered as production-ready software for applications in robot manipulation, visual inspection, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) / mobile manipulators.
- Own significant software modules end-to-end—from understanding the problem through designing, building, testing, and supporting them in production.
- Engage in hands-on development, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration. What We're Looking For
- Software Engineer with AI/ML experience, able to work in a mid-level role and contribute across the software lifecycle.
- Ability to build, deploy, and maintain ML-powered software for robotics applications; experience turning research ideas into production-ready code.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with ML researchers and robotics engineers to deploy models into product pipelines. Nice to Have
- Experience with robotics applications, such as robot manipulation, visual inspection, or autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and mobile manipulators.
- Hands-on experience delivering ML models into production for robotics or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with ML pipelines, tooling, and deployment in production environments (edge devices, robotics platforms).
