About the Role Marex is seeking a Software Developer focusing on onboarding applications to help the development team build modern, responsive web applications. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, onboarding SMEs, QA, and wider technology teams to deliver a scalable, efficient, and client-centric onboarding experience as Marex grows onboarding and product capabilities. What You'll Do
- Design, code and test all components of modern web applications.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the technology created/maintained by the development delivery team.
- Develop solutions to a high standard that are maintainable, testable and meet the acceptance criteria.
- Adhere to development best practices and processes.
- Communicate with team members, introduce ideas and keep abreast of the latest technologies.
- Liaise with business users to gather application requirements.
- Ensure delivered systems are of production quality and adequately documented for handover to the business.
- Follow coding standards and defined development processes.
- Resolve third line support issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role, escalating risk events and providing input to risk management processes.
- Model integrity and conduct in line with Marex values and the Code of Conduct; report breaches to Compliance or your supervisor as required.

- Essential: At least seven (7+) years experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Docker / Containers.
- Experience of NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform or equivalent.
- Experience in modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Cloud technology, strongly preferring AWS.
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD.
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Methodical approach to software architecture and design.
