Section: Overview WE ARE HIRING: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Location: Accra, Ghana Industry: Financial & Investment Services We are seeking a skilled and solutions-oriented Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance technology solutions that support our business operations and digital transformation objectives.
Section: Responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain software applications. Translate business requirements into functional technology solutions. Develop and maintain web-based and/or enterprise applications. Integrate systems, APIs and third-party applications where required. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues. Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards. Develop secure, scalable, and reliable applications. Collaborate with business users, IT and other stakeholders to understand requirements. Prepare technical documentation and system specifications. Monitor application performance and recommend improvements. Participate in software testing, deployment, and system maintenance. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend relevant solutions.
Section: Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 2–5 years' relevant software development experience. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PHP, or similar. Experience with databases and SQL. Knowledge of APIs, Git/version control, and software development methodologies. Experience developing web applications will be an advantage. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Understanding of cybersecurity and secure software development practices. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Experience in financial services technology/FinTech will be an advantage.
