Software Developer (all genders)

Responsibilities

Implement and improve software and AI solutions for Evotec, e.g. features for our large inhouse server/browser multi-omics application: a secure, high-performance and on-demand scalable product using state of the art tooling and agentic workflows

Participate in every stage of the development process and lifecycle of the software your team is building – from design and implementation to operation and continuous improvement - Work closely with a team of like-minded experts and help realize new software ideas in an agile development process

Coordinate with other senior personell to improve workflows, strategize and keep an eye on the wider picture of the department's goals

Required qualifications

BSc or Master in computer science or similar and proficiency in multiple aspects of software development

You are reliable and a strong team player

Comfortable incorporating AI coding assistants into daily development work, with sound judgment about reviewing and validating AI-generated output before it ships

Fluency in written and spoken business English is necessary

You are eager to continuously learn and apply new technologies
