Overview
We are seeking a skilled and solutions-oriented Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance technology solutions that support our business operations and digital transformation objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Translate business requirements into functional technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain web-based and/or enterprise applications.
- Integrate systems, APIs, and third-party applications where required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Develop secure, scalable, and reliable applications.
- Collaborate with business users, IT, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and system specifications.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
- Participate in software testing, deployment, and system maintenance.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend relevant solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years' relevant software development experience.
- Technical Skills:
- • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PHP, or similar.
- • Experience with databases and SQL.
- • Knowledge of APIs, Git/version control, and software development methodologies.
- • Experience developing web applications will be an advantage.
- • Understanding of cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
- Soft Skills:
- • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: Experience in financial services technology/FinTech will be an advantage.
