About this role

Social Media, PR & Media Strategist

  • Los Angeles | Full-Time | IN-OFFICE

You must be based in Los Angeles and available to work in-office full-time. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to turn what’s happening inside a company into stories people want to follow and stories the media wants to cover. This role sits at the intersection of social media, storytelling, PR, and earned media.

You’ll help:

  • Lead social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms

  • Identify timely stories, trends, and content opportunities

  • Turn launches, research, partnerships, and milestones into strong social and media narratives

  • Conduct daily outreach to journalists, editors, producers, newsletters, podcasts, and industry voices

  • Build media relationships and targeted press lists

  • Develop personalized pitches and story angles

  • Draft press releases, articles, executive commentary, and thought leadership

  • Create and capture content

  • Be comfortable and natural on camera

  • Track social performance, outreach, and earned media placements

We’re looking for a strong storyteller with strong social instincts and real PR/media outreach experience. You should know how to research a journalist, understand what they cover, develop the right angle, pitch them personally, follow up, and build the relationship over time.

Requirements

  • Existing media relationships are highly preferred.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance

  • Retirement plan
