Social Media Consultant
The Jane Goodall Institute is hiring a remote, part-time contractor Social Media Consultant to support communications and conservation work by producing short-form video and social content.

Responsibilities
- Produce 4 short-form videos per month for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
- Create 8 social media posts per month highlighting JGI’s Roots & Shoots youth movement.
- Produce 4 monthly posts covering research, wildlife, conservation and sanctuary activities.
- Edit videos and incorporate captions, music, graphics and motion elements.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant social media experience.
- Short-form video production and editing skills.
- Experience creating social media graphics and visual content.
- Strong written communication and editorial judgment.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Familiarity with Canva and basic video-editing tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
