Job Title: Social Media and Community Associate

Job Description / Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and optimising the school’s social-media accounts.
- Develop a monthly content calendar based on the school’s priorities.
- Create short videos, reels, flyers, carousels and educational posts.
- Edit supplied video footage and add captions, music, graphics and calls to action.
- Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
- Monitor comments and direct messages during agreed response periods.
- Respond to routine enquiries using approved information and templates.
- Record and follow up with genuine prospective learners.
- Direct interested learners to the appropriate programme, timetable, assessment or registration page.
- Maintain organised copies of captions, designs, videos and editable source files.
- Submit weekly performance updates and a monthly social-media report.
- Perform reasonable related launch and campaign duties within the agreed working hours.
Requirements

Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 year experience.

Demonstrated ability to create engaging social-media content.

Experience using Canva and a video-editing application such as CapCut, InShot or Adobe Premiere Rush.

Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.

Strong written and spoken English.

Ability to write clear, natural and engaging captions.

Good judgement when responding to public comments and private messages.

Ability to follow brand, approval and confidentiality requirements.

Strong organisation, follow-up and record-keeping skills.

Reliable internet connection, smartphone and suitable computer access.

Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.

A portfolio containing videos, graphics, social-media pages or related work.

Previous social-media, content-creation, community-management or customer-service experience is preferred. A degree or professional qualification is an advantage, but practical ability and a strong portfolio are more important.

Knowledge of French is not required. However, an interest in learning French and supporting adult learners will be valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

₦120,000 monthly compensation.

₦10,000 monthly data allowance.

Progressive sponsored access to the school’s French courses from A1 to B2.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for someone who is interested in learning French while developing practical experience in social-media management, content creation and online community engagement.
