About the Role HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced SME focusing on Data Loss Prevention and Palo Alto Firewalls. The role requires extensive hands-on expertise with firewall and Netscaler solutions to design, implement, monitor, and manage secure network infrastructures for customers.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and manage NetScaler appliances (VPX and hardware) to deliver load balancing, web application firewall (WAF), and other application delivery services.
• Configure and maintain NetScaler load balancing to distribute traffic across servers for high availability and performance.
• Deploy, configure, and manage NetScaler WAF to protect web applications; monitor performance and tune configurations.
• Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution; identify root causes and implement solutions; document remedies.
• Manage application onboarding, user access, and ongoing administration of NetScaler infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce security policies, certificate management, and authentication profiles (LDAP, Radius, MFA) within NetScaler environments.
• Collaborate with networking, systems, and security teams; support problem management, root cause analysis, and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base; assist in problem management and RCA investigations.

What We're Looking For

• Strong NetScaler expertise (architecture, VPX/hardware, load balancing, WAF).
• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, VPNs (IPsec Site-to-Site, SSL), NAT/PAT, QOS, high availability, logging, SNMP.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex network security topologies and cross-team coordination.
• Working knowledge of certificate management (self-signed certs), LDAP, Radius, MFA integrations.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux, virtualization, and scripting (Python/Bash) is a plus.
• Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills; vendor and SLA management; remote infrastructure management experience.
• Relevant certifications: Fortinet and Cisco professional certifications.

Nice to Have

• Citrix NetScaler certification or extensive NetScaler VPX experience; familiarity with patching/signature updates, OS/firmware upgrades.
• Experience with DR/backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
